A court booking system
that works while you sleep.

With Playmore, players book and pay for courts 24/7 in the app or on the web. You set the rules: prepayment, recurring slots, passes, open games, door access and revenue reporting — for every sport and venue in one account.

The problem

What booking by phone and spreadsheet really costs

Bookings by phone tie up your staff

Every call and message is time your staff are not spending on players, and a booking taken by phone is rarely paid upfront. Before Okęcie Tennis Club switched to Playmore, only about 20% of its bookings were paid online.

Cancellations come too late to resell

57% of cancellations happen in the last 24 hours before the slot (Playmore booking data). Without prepayment and a clear cancellation rule, that hour is simply lost.

Chasing payments eats the week

At Okęcie Tennis Club in Warsaw, receptionists used to spend 20 hours a week chasing overdue payments. Pay-on-the-day turns your front desk into a debt collector.

Features

What a court reservation system should do for your venue

A calendar with a “book” button is not enough. Here is what the system should take off your hands — and how Playmore does it.

Booking 24/7

Players book when they think of it — late at night or on the way home — not when reception happens to be open.

In Playmore: Players book in the Playmore app on iOS and Android or on the web, and you can embed the booking page on your own website.

Prepayment before the slot

Paying upfront turns a booking into a commitment — the simplest no-show fee there is — and a clear cancellation rule decides what happens when plans change.

In Playmore: You can require online prepayment for every booking: card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or a payment link, with split payment between players and a player wallet.

Recurring slots

Your regulars want the same court at the same time every week without rebooking it each Monday.

In Playmore: Recurring bookings and fixed weekly slots for regular players.

Passes and packages

Prepaid passes bring revenue forward and give players a reason to come back.

In Playmore: Passes, packages and discount codes.

Open games

A player with a court and no partner is a booking at risk. The system should help fill the missing places.

In Playmore: Players find partners and join open matches, and you can run leagues and tournaments, with a referee tablet and a TV results display.

Courses and coaches

Coaching often fills the hours that casual players leave empty.

In Playmore: Courses, academies and camps, coach schedules and booking a coach.

Access control

If a court is paid for, the door should open without anyone on reception.

In Playmore: Door and court access after payment, through the Loxone integration in production at KS Zakręt in Warsaw.

Reminders

A forgotten booking is an empty court. A reminder costs nothing.

In Playmore: Booking reminders and notifications to players by push, SMS and email.

Reporting

Counting bookings is not enough. You need to know what each court hour earns and when courts stand empty.

In Playmore: Revenue reporting with RevPACH (revenue per available court hour) and a utilisation heatmap.

Checklist

How to choose a court booking system

Feature lists look alike. The differences show up in fees, contracts and who controls your players. Before you sign with any court reservation software, ask every vendor these eight questions — and get the answers in writing.

  1. 1

    Who owns the player data?

Can you export your full player list and booking history at any time, in a format you can use elsewhere? Will the vendor use your players to promote other venues?

  2. 2

What are the fees on payments?

Ask for the fee on each transaction, any monthly minimum and who the payment provider is. Work it out on a real month of your bookings, not on the headline rate.

  3. 3

Are players charged anything on top of your price?

Some systems add a booking or service fee for the player. Your price on the screen should be the price the player pays.

  4. 4

    How long is the contract?

Check the minimum term, the notice period, automatic renewal and any exit costs — and whether your data leaves with you.

  5. 5

    Is there an API?

Can you connect your website, accounting and other tools? Is the API available on your plan, or only on a higher tier?

  6. 6

    Does it handle access control?

Which door and lock systems does it work with, and can access depend on payment? This decides whether you can open without staff.

  7. 7

How do the player apps rate?

Your players use the app, not you. Read the App Store and Google Play ratings and the most recent reviews before you sign.

  8. 8

How long does it take to go live?

Who sets up courts, prices and rules, and who moves your existing bookings and passes across? Ask for a date, not a range of months.
