Playmore vs Playtomic Manager

Playtomic is the best-known name in padel: a player app with a huge audience and a club manager on top. Playmore is club software first. Here is what each one costs and how they differ, using Playtomic's own published terms.

Choose Playmore if

you want the booking experience, the payment rules and the player relationship to belong to your club, with prepayment enforced on every booking and one system for courts, classes, leagues and access control.

Choose Playtomic Manager if

your priority is reach: being listed in a consumer app with millions of padel players, and you are happy for open-match players to pay a service fee on top of your price.

Price: the subscription is only part of it

Playtomic publishes its plan prices: in the Spanish (EUR) list Standard is €59 a month, Professional €89, Champion €139 and Master €279; the US list shows 119 to 349 a month. Memberships, courses, coaches, leagues and the API only start at Champion.

On top of the subscription, Playtomic deducts a "B2B service fee" from every online payment before the money reaches the club. Its help centre says the rate is defined in each club's contract, so you will only see it in your offer. Players also pay a service fee on top of your price in several markets — 20% on open matches in the UK, US, Ireland and Germany (capped at 0.99), and 4% on court bookings in Ireland.

When you compare quotes, add the three together: subscription, the club fee on payments, and what your players pay on top.

Who owns the player relationship

Playtomic's privacy policy names Playtomic S.L. as the data controller for players; clubs see the data related to their bookings, can export a customer list, and may only send marketing to players who opted in. In the Playtomic app your club is shown alongside other clubs nearby.

That is the trade-off of a marketplace: reach in exchange for sharing the customer. In December 2025 The Padel Paper reported that Rocket Padel and Padium left Playtomic over access to customer data; Playtomic disputed this and pointed to its API.

With Playmore, players book through your club's page in the app or on your own website, and your booking rules, prices and communication stay under your control.

Where Playtomic is strong

Reach. Playtomic reports more than 1.7 million monthly active players and 6,700+ clubs, and its player app is rated around 4.8 in the UK and US App Stores. A new padel club in a city where players already use Playtomic gets visibility on day one. If that matters more to you than control over pricing and the player relationship, Playtomic is a reasonable choice.

Switching

Playtomic asks clubs to cancel 30 days ahead; the subscription ends with the paid period and the club has to ask separately to be taken offline. Plan the move between seasons, export your customer list first, and keep your court calendar running in parallel for a week. We help with the import and the setup during onboarding.
